Nope you're wrong
A+

Yeah, I'm not going to defend Tony Daniel's writing.

Natch, 700-702. Cliff Richards did 703.

I've gone back and forth a lot about Tony Daniel's art, and while I see the flaws, there are scenes and moments I love from throughout his work on Morrison's run, which I is why I designated him as decent.

However!
They did not plagiarize owl rape from anywhere, nor a sexually amorous butterfly, and as those were the best parts of the episode, no harm, no foul. I'm sure they'll compensate the College Humor guys.

Excellent artists on Morrison's Batman run: Andy Kubert, J.H. Williams III, Frank Quitely, Cameron Stewart, Frazer Irving, Yanick Paquette, Chris Sprouse, and Ryan Sook

That's fair, Cooper. I think the writing has been generally superb, but I have missed some plot points here and there because of art that didn't communicate what it needed to. I got them upon re-readings, but his stuff is so packed with information that important details get lost.

Those liking Paul Azaceta's work should check out BPRD: 1946. It's great set in the Hellboy universe, and has cyborg gorillas and Nazis. It's one of my favorite stories concocted by Mike Mignola and Friends.

It's all good, Don. Glad to discuss the issue with someone.

And beware spoilers in a thread that's discussing a released-this-week issue.

Well, Jorge, yeah, all that Pyg stuff is rooted in the Greek myths. Each of the things Morrison talked about informing his Pyg were building off the Myth. Getting into his headspace about how he conceived the character is interesting, but it was still a dynamic interesting characters before we knew where all the

What do you mean, Elseworlds? Elseworlds stories are DC what-if stories that were popular in the 90s. That's not what he's drawing on at all.

Don Staples— Like Dr. Hurt said in part 2, it's all theater. Hurt is trying to force Damien to accept the same offer he made to Bruce in RIP, except this time, the life of his mentor (Dick) hangs in the balance. It's about Hurt forcing Damien to join him. I think it was pretty awesome. It was a great hook to open

I'd rather have a villain like Professor Pyg where it's not all on the page, as opposed to something easy-to-swallow and lame, like Hush (Handguns, a trench coat, and guns? Really, Jeph Loeb?)

Nope. Grant Morrison is awesome, and his run will eventually be regarded as one of THE Batman runs.

What's there to understand?

See, what I like about Morrison's Batman is that his Batman is both a street-level crimefighter, international world-saving hero, and someone who bumps up against weird, hallucinatory things (Batmite, etc).

Jean Luc, way to miss the point of everything Morrison is trying to do with Batman. The story is still on-going, and he's made great strides to open up a very tired status quo in the Batworld. He's actually writing Bruce Wayne as a character. RIP and Final Crisis are frustrating as story endpoints, but they're

Given that this seems to be the designated Batman thread, I'm going to chime in here.

Outlaw Vern is my favorite movie critic. More verbose ex-cons should become movie critics.
