My least favorite thing seen on TV are all advertisements needing to put the disclaimer, "Do not attempt," even in the mildest of situations. The worst (that is, needless) was a car commercial that had a family loading into their vehicle, pulling safely out of the driveway and heading off to their little girl's

And truckstops. It has truckstops.

I would like to visit Sylvania, just to see why they would want to invade Freedonia. I would also like to visit Roseyland just before the Marines destroyed it, enabling Hawkeye, BJ and Sculley to escape relatively unscathed. And of course, I want to go down to South Park and have myself a time!

With the Beatles: It Won't Be Long/All I've Got to Do.  Yay.
Meet the Beatles: I Want to Hold Your Hand/I Saw Her Standing

I like the cut of your jib for including Bernard Herrmann's Psycho (and likening it to Bartok) and the Zombies.  As far as "serious" music is concerned, because you can't really divide "one-two punches" out of first and second movement, I submit this following item:

And so I will add a few more:

Here's my start:
Surrealistic Pillow, Jefferson Airplane: She Has Funny Cars/Somebody to Love
