Everyone can say what they want about "The Angels Take Manhattan," but I will defend to the death the greatness of "The Time Of Angels"/"Flesh And Stone."

If someone got me a Christmas present by seemingly traveling back in time 20+ years and taking photos of my dead mother, I feel like I'd have questions about how the hell they pulled that off, cheapening it or no.

Oh yeah, meant latter. Will go fix it, thanks!

I'm guessing they figured it would perform better airing right after Doctor Who. Which is honestly not the worst idea ever, if not for the fact that a lot of fans would probably already find ways to watch it in the meantime.

Yeah, I think the hiatuses have next to nothing to do with Moffat. Doctor Who production schedules might get tweaked *slightly* to accommodate Sherlock, which is determined by Cumberbatch and Freeman's schedules way more than by Moffat, but mostly it's just that the BBC has had no money for years and years now. The

Short version, the main villain has a *really* stupid understanding of how evolution works. He wants to kill the most evolved being on Earth — which, as Queen Victoria was technically the most powerful person on Earth on this period, would be her — and thus, by becoming her predator or whatever, be the new most

Oh, for sure, Ghost Light isn't as baffling as Warriors' Gate, and anyway I'd arguing the confusing aspects are part of its charm. Both those are great *because* you can watch them without the foggiest clue what's going on.

I respect how hard and unashamedly you're going for it.

Honestly, the fact Moffat has taught us to watch his Doctor Who in such a specific way makes it legitimately difficult when he then wants us to watch it in a different (and better!) way.

I know, but I wanted to keep that aside relatively short. I think if Captain Jack had been a primary companion, it'd be silly to claim Bill is the first gay companion. It's more like how Martha is generally considered the first black companion, even though Mickie obviously got a few TARDIS trips in before she did.

It's *probably* done. Caroline's writing schedule is just crazy, and she super understandably has to prioritize work she gets paid for ahead of work she doesn't. She gave me her blessing to proceed with a new co-host, but I can't think of anyone else I'd want to have replace her.

I think that was Nak's normal entrance, with last week's being his special occasion, normally PPV-only entrance.

Given the hour-plus difference in running time, it makes a lot of sense to space things out a bit. Doesn't mean the women's segment wasn't a mess this week, but the concept is logical given the circumstances.

The tag division could really benefit from a DIY call-up, but I remain convinced SDL has something special in Breezango if they just let them do their thing. And by "something special," I mean "puts on shockingly entertaining matches, makes the entire division feel legit" as opposed to, like, winning multiple titles

I suspect Orton-Styles will blur the lines quite a bit, with Orton possibly emerging as a heel. Also, AJ is in that latter-day HBK territory where he can basically be effective heel against a Sami or a Shinsuke and effective face against anyone else.

When your "break-in-case-of-emergency" program is freaking Styles-Nakamura, I can't be too worried.

Honestly, if KO played himself by thinking he could just sit on his rematch whenever he wanted instead of cashing it in against Goldberg as soon as possible, that'd be pretty karmically appropriate.

Like SG Standard said, I'm about 95% sure we're getting Orton-Styles sooner rather than later, whether they use the one-on-one rematch thing or not. (Honestly, AJ got more than enough shots at winning his title back post-Rumble, and now he's more face than heel it'd be weird for him to keep harping on it.) We just got

I tend to be real skeptical that you can pull off heels chasing faces for a title. Also, AJ Styles was ridiculously hot after being John Cena clean. Not capitalizing on that would have been the much bigger mistake, I think, especially since Dean was flagging a bit as champ once he got past the Shield stuff. (I think
