I'm not at all sure, but I think new shows may be evaluated a little differently from those that have already been reviewed for a long time. Though it certainly wasn't uncommon for underperforming new shows to have reviews ended early even before the recent purge.

Requiem was another one I specifically had in mind, and I'd agree with Million Dollar Baby and maybe Pan's Labyrinth, though that's got enough fantasy shit in it to maybe be rewatchable. I could see The Exorcist, but it didn't personally do as much for me.
