Right, but I'd contend that was the genius of her taking the NPS job and convincing them to move the office to Pawnee. It proved that her ambitions and talents were bigger than Pawnee without forcing her to leave the town that she loved and that defined her.

I initially thought "Fancy Party" was called "April And Andy," just to complete the set. Which I kind of wish it was, because "Fancy Party" might be my favorite episode of the whole damn series, and it feels like it's a spiritual sibling of all the "______ & ______" episodes.

Not to say your points don't make good sense, but I'd really first like to hear a rebuttal from Arlen's own Hank Hill. Never has the Gipper had a more eloquent defender.

That's DJ "Ra's al Ghul paid for this" Shit to you.

Is "capable" not sufficiently complimentary? Because I love Adam Scott just as much — nay, more! — than the next guy; it just seemed the right adjective to describe his work in that scene, which was good but not series-best or what-have-you.

Would you find it oddly disquieting if that 'f' mysteriously vanished? Because, um…

Nope, I was pretty sure the answer would be mundane and boring. I just couldn't find it anywhere, and I knew one of you fine people would know the answer.

The first paragraph was more meant to be a way of thinking how Arrow is going to work through the charade of Oliver being dead without losing audience interest when, yeah, everyone knows he's coming back. I could have made that a bit clearer, to be sure, but that was what I was trying to get at.

Sure! We're always going to run into issues when dealing with the inherent subjectivity of reviewing, and nothing is more subjective than what makes people laugh.

For the record, I'm not really talking about much beyond that when I say "vital." I'd just love to see the show recapture a little bit of its old magic in its last season and inch closer to its S2/3/sorta 4 glory days. Sounds like you laughed tonight a bit more than I did, but we're looking for the same thing. Guess

For the record, you're not fooling anyone, Nick Kroll.

I'm not honestly sure: I think you could make a decent argument for The Office season 7 getting a new lease on life from Michael Scott's departure (much less so season 9 from the show's overall conclusion). And 30 Rock didn't exactly shake up the status quo in its final season, but it definitely knew it was wrapping

Well, right. That's one of a couple reasons that he would be a very surprising killer.

That's like two, maybe three people tops.

Plus, they can replace reviewers, and no one can tell the diddley-ifference!

I think King of the Hill would have been a hard sell even in the halcyon days of TV Club Classic, just because there's so dang much of it, and I imagine you'd need a guaranteed gigantic audience (like Simpsons classic size, which is probably asking too much) to attempt it. That said, I'd love to do something with KotH

B) So that Chandler Bing could appear on it. It's like you guys don't even read these things!

Yeah, Tammy is definitely one. A corrupt teacher/Mr. Frond is another. Beyond that, it's pretty much just a guest character or Louise, I think.

Yeah, I thought about qualifying that and then didn't, for whatever reason. There are quite a few plausible adult villains for Bob to deal with, but not nearly as many that work as antagonists for the kids.
