Should I give Big Trouble in Little China another chance? So many people put it up there with Carpenter's best, but I always found it a little too cheesy for my tastes. So am I in the wrong, or are too many fans opinions obscured by the fog of nostalgia?

I always felt like Metacritic was a slightly shrewder version of RottenTomatoes, but judging from the people that it's bringing here, I may have been wrong about that.
