I thought this was pretty weak, I wouldn't put it into the B range.  Miley was fine, and her competence surprised me, but there were a lot of bad sketches and wasted time.  It wasn't bad enough that I will not pay attention to the rest of the season, but not good enough that I will rave about how 'SNL is back yall'

completely agree about the acoustic rendition of "we cant stop", that song wrecking ball is so ridiculously awful I'm surprised it gets played all day, however we cant stop has a good beat that gets stuck in my head.  I was actually looking forward to the beat kicking in and the performance being fun, and it never

she's 20, who cares how old you think she looks…  she's legal, who cares?  second, those guys arent as old as they could have been

she was a very capable actress, she isn't funny, but she was able to read lines.  Go check out SNL episodes with athletes and other non actors who really can't deliver lines.  They read jokes in the monologue without any understanding of where to pause, what to inflect, but vehement hatred toward Miley and her

the We Can Stop thing would have been funny if it had jokes in it.  It really felt like the put that together in 10 minutes and never went back to put comedy in.  Not one shot of Miley doing crazy eyes as Bachmann, and really lazy with the changed lyrics to match the shutdown theme.

wrong, that whole thing is written for you to believe that he succeeds in getting them to get his money to his kids

Guys, I'm not on twitter

he was fucking magical at that roast

I like snoops reggae album, so I was kind of happy to see him, it felt a little too much with his song playing for a few minutes, but they got a lot of great jokes out of him being there, and his appearance wasn't simply "what is snoop doing here?!" They at least had a nice little way to work him in with tacos Eskimo

If you're watching it because you think it's curb lite rather than it's always sunnys slightly more professional cousin that kind of weaves plots like curb does, you're a fool and you don't have that good-good

God thank you, the "not cool" comment? Might as well start reviewing a different show because making fun of Jenny is part of the plot, and all viewers know that she is most league and football fans model wife

I agree that a bit of suspension of belief is needed on every few league episodes. Sometimes it's a bit worse than curb is, but curb has found success with the same type of thing. Regular people having over the top reactions to events that really aren't that bad causing conflict down the line

looked so damn high in surprised he could perform. Yes I know he always "looks" high but it was obvious some of them shared a blunt in Franco's green room before the show.

I agree, he didn't work well in this setting

Wow you are so dead wrong, he killed both with the crowd present, and from all people I've discussed this roast with. He didn't do the same shtick as norm McDonald, but it was on the same level.

Nippy haired guy from workaholics was also accompanied by Adam Devine (short guy from workaholics). They make sense being there since they have a show on Comedy Central and this show was airing on Comedy Central.

Yeah I thought kroll, Samberg, and Hader at least all killed. I don't think aziz is well suited to a roast, but I felt kroll was only there as a Comedy Central plant, and he's perfect for roasts. That bit about Evan Goldberg was amazing, and Sambergs was full of amazing lines like
