Eli Roth, apparently, the champion of making women into victims or evil "bitches" (which happens quite literally in this program).

If you've only watched four episodes, you haven't reached the worst this show has to offer. I was into this show (pretty highly at first, and then the mere momentum of binge-watching caused interest to dissipate in favor of finding out what the fuck is going on) all the way through until the penultimate and finale

I loved the first two DEXTER books; hate the series, though.

After what I thought were a few interesting opening episodes, with what I felt was a pretty solid pair of leads, any good will that the series had pried from me was evicerated (like all the women on this show) in the utter fucktardedness of the last two episodes (once you invest enough time with a series, you kind of

"Look at me; I'm red, I'm sore." - "You're sore? You've got nerve."

Oh my God, this was probably the funniest episode of TV in quite some time. The moments with Sue and Furlong (and then Furlong and his aide) were so rewind-worthy that the only thing that I can remember that was as hilariously and tear-producingly funny was the scene in LOUIE with F. Murray Abraham where he's using

More to the poing, the question is, is ANYTHING on this show working? I say a resounding Yes, but only if the show is trying to become a subversive comedy about the tropes of the brilliant-serial-killer/dogged-and-obsessed-lawman genre. If not, then the show is a pit of despair.

Thanks to my Canadian wife, I got into these guys intially with songs like "Succexy", "Monster Hospital", "Empty", and one of my personal faves, "Soft Rock Star". But once FANTASIES hit, I knew I was going to be a big Metric fan. I saw them perform for the first time in the intimate setting of the acoustic set like in

I was, as you all were, SHOCKED when we found out that Ryan springing Roderick was actually a real law-enforcement-style ruse. It was the first time that anything they've done has actually made sense. That is, until they totally fuck it up by apparently having their backup at least five minutes away.

I'm hoping they

Is there an actual writing staff on this show? I ask, because it seems like the characters voices and motivations change with awe-inspiring speed. Why did Joe feel the need to slap Emma (other than the fact that EVERYONE ON THIS SHOW needs to be slapped at least 50 times)? Normally, he would have given her a

I still wouldn't say I'm a fan, but his travels with Brienne have certainly warmed me up to him. And Nikoaj has been killing it in these past two seasons. I thought his character was a little weakly defined in S1.

Um, where's "Once More With Feeling?"

I think it's official that my favorite part of watching this show is reading the yakbacks here.
