I was there about 3 or 4 years ago and they had a technical malfunction and had to cancel the show for the day. I can't believe it's still going on. Surely Universal has a wide range of flops they could build a new show around. For instance, how about `Battleship?' They wouldn't even have to drain the pool.

I started watching about midway through the first season — I liked the way it evolved from just a monster-of-the-week kind of thing to a show with a season-long story (much like Buffy and Angel, two shows of which I'm a huge fan). Deadline.com reports that production has been shut down on Buckwild, at least temporarily… if anyone cares.

I haven't seen this series from the beginning so I'm not completely familiar with Elijah's relationships with Elena and Katherine and all that — I just think he's incredibly charismatic. More please!
