Thanks!

Just curious what time zone we're thinking of here, 10:30 sounds good, even if it's something like 9:30 for me.

What time? I love Die Hard and would try and pop by.

Nathan Rabin is without a doubt a total hack. The moment he no longer decided that 30Rock was some sort of pop-cultural "in" he completely disengaged from doing any semblance of his job with these reviews. So instead we get comments where he just outright says the show is a real life Thursday Night Groundhog Day, or

It kind of reminds me of It's Garry Shandling's Show, which I think a lot of Community fans here would really get into. Another show that just did all sorts of different things and played with the whole 4th wall meta humor sort of business.

I laughed when he appeared on screen since he basically plays a variation of the same sort of dorky but loveable schmuck he always plays. Not really a surprise when Subway was basically the same way. He does a pretty hilarious job of it though.

This is a very good episode, and it's been said much better by Zach and other more articulate commentors than I could. So all I'm going to say is that this felt a bit like an episode of Homicide (..IN SPACE!). Which is a good thing.

Karen was fun and awesome and Jim treated her like crap and had her living in a hotel for weeks.

Toby ruined everything.

The Office was having a much, much worse season that year.

Meh. I tried.

So I guess all the good will for the sort of toned down House that I thought would mark the show's final season was misplaced. I honestly didn't think that the awful green screen monster truck diagnosis couldn't be topped but then Taub turned into the tooth fairy. And the whole scottish mark twain dad. And, well,

Finished Breaking Bad season 4, which might actually be the best of the show. I know at least it was the second best thing I've seen on TV ever. Then I watched some more season 2 Mad Men which seems to have suddenly gotten way, way better so I'm glad I decided to try and catch up for the premiere this month.

You should give season 2 of Twin Peaks a go. Very good stuff. Though it gets a little crappy in the later half the series finale is pretty much one of the best things put on TV. Although there is a certain point in season 2 where you can stop and still get a good complete story. You'll know it when you get there.

Scrubs did a great final season (8) though.

Yes. I get that David Lynch is mostly doing his own things now but hot damn I'd kill for one more Twin Peaks movie.

Tuned in since Parks is on a brief hiatus. Haven't been watching the show regularly in a while, but this episode was pretty hilarious. Didn't really get the complaints against
Kristen Schaal's character, she was pretty funny during the whole thing. Really just about every joke landed for me. I'm going to try and keep

Sometimes it really does feel like Cardassians trashed Disqus before handing it over to us.

These are wonderful.
