I'm really hoping a little bit of Jerry-influence creeps into Trey's style for tour this summer (fingers crossed for Watkins Glen). Or even hearing Phish bustout Tennessee Jed or something.
Co-signed for JRAD. I especially like the shows they did with Phil Lesh. Their greatest strength really is their willingness to go deep on songs instead of play the songs religiously. That's what Dark Star Orchestra is for (who would still probably be better than Dead Chicago).
Not mentioned is the fact that Trey Anastasio from Phish is playing lead for these shows. Definitely a contributing factor to this shitstorm. Every Phishhead (or phan if you prefer) and Deadhead alike is trying to score tickets for this one.
I guess it doesn't help that Trey Anastasio is playing lead for these shows.
American Beauty is a stone cold classic. One of the best folk rock albums ever.
Most of the bands that would actually be able to take advantage of this aren't exactly in the starving indie band category.
I interpreted them torturing Joe at the end as almost an afterthought by the police. I don't think it was supposed to be an official punishment, but rather the cops deciding so fuck with someone in an easy way because why not?
Hacky?! That's gold Jerry! That's gold.
They really have been. I fell off Whooch for a while, but lately I'm listening to every episode + tooch. Howard has just been so on point lately.
#sarcasm
They already did After Earth!
I'd have to go with 10 cent beer night. I've re-listened to that one at least 5 times, and it seems to get funnier every time.
Aziz is waay to big now
And he crushes it at weddings.
Or the $57k for the first rehab stint
Did Aukerman mention that too? I know I've heard Besser call him out by name over that episode, but I haven't heard Scottobot mention it.
How come you found the Lewinsky stuff so awful? I listened to the Case Closed, and the follow up on the most recent episode, and found myself really indifferent to either side (despite the Twitter guy's terrible point about Tyler Clementi).
Holy callbacks batman! Seriously, there were an insane number of callbacks in that episode. Fantastic episode. I could listen to an improv4humans episode with no actual scenes. Besser's between scene banter is worth the ticket price alone.
They give me the jimmie-legs
