I don't read the comics, but wouldn't that be weird if the word "mutant" was freed up after they already found workarounds for originally mutant characters? It'd be strange if they suddenly started referring to Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch as mutants after a few movies of dancing around the term.

Nope. It's baffling, episode 7 is nowhere to be found.

For some reason, episode 8 appears to be online, but not episode 7. This is frustrating.

I guess the Avatar is an avatar for Raava? I'm not sure how early in the show the creators came up with that part of the mythology, though.

I understood it pretty quickly as a turn of phrase on "love to hate", which is used when a show is enjoyable because it has an unlikable main character who is fun and intriguing to follow even if you dislike him (see: every white male antihero show that's come out in the past 10 years). That headline is basically

Ridiculous clickbaity headline aside, I would actually really recommend not reading that review - it spoils the content of the premiere's cold open, which I would have much rather been able to watch without knowing what it would contain.

So far with both weeks of Parks being back I've enjoyed the even numbered episodes and disliked the odd numbered episodes. Let's hope this trend doesn't continue for episode 13's finale.

(I don't know why I'm still watching. I started hatewatching the show during season 3, and it's a pretty colorful show so it's always pretty entertaining to watch and make fun of)

I honestly don't know why.

"How do you call yourselves a sheet music store if you don't have the soundtrack to Smash?"
- an actual quote from tonight's Glee

Of the two I've seen (which are the same two you've seen), I would bump Big Hero 6. I liked it a lot, but it's too formulaic and predictable for me to consider it Oscar-worthy.

I tried to watch the pilot and hated it so much that I couldn't even finish the episode. Is there any chance I'd like later installments, or is it just not for me?

That line might have been the first time that Parks has made me laugh out loud since season 4.

I find Marry Me to have absolutely no redeeming qualities. I have no idea why I'm still watching it.

I thought the first episode was pretty eh, but episode 2 was literally the most entertained I've been by a Parks episode in years. Let's hope it can keep that up.

Apparenty Zooey Deschanel is pregnant. What does it say about me that my immediate first thought was about how it would affect New Girl?

I was really confused when I saw someone refer to Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt as a "cult comedy" on Twitter, since the show hasn't even aired yet. I was about to go into a rant about how the word "cult" is increasingly being used to describe shows that are even slightly below the maximum level of popularity to the point

Not for me, I still have a backlog of like fifteen episodes of various shows I haven't caught up with. And I accrued a backlog of way too many movies now too.

I liked the Leftovers, but it bored me too often that I doubt it'll crack the list of however many shows I decide to rank. The fact that I had already completely forgot that it existed was pretty telling.

I was assuming they were some kind of explosion-proof gloves that they forgot to explain. Doesn't explain how she puts on clothes, though.
