As long as the Circle Pad Pro works with Smash I can hold off on buying the new system for a while. It has way too many new features for me to resist forever, though.

There's actually a chance I might have to push it to Friday based on my general business, if that's ok. I'll try to get it out by tomorrow night but the absolute latest it'll be up will be around mid-afternoon on Friday.

I know there's still a lot of TV left in the year, but it might be my current favorite show of 2014.

Narrator (or anyone else who's been paying attention), are we on track for me to post the Cooperative Escapism review tomorrow? I've been busy and I can't remember if we had anyone post the Alternative History review last week.

Not sure if this has been posted, but Donald Glover will be voicing Spider-Man on Disney XD's Ultimate Spider-Man. So that's pretty neat.

I don't know why I even hoped for otherwise.

What's with those weird noises whenever the Emmys play Breaking Bad's theme?

I don't know how many of you have been keeping up with Legend of Korra, but today's finale was absolutely fantastic. This has been one of the outright best seasons of television I've seen in years.

For me, it was like this: When I first watched through seasons 1-7 of The Office all at once, I was kept consistently interested, laughing, and entertained, even throughout the show's so-called bad stretches.

I've already expressed my extremely strange opinion that The Office stayed more or less consistent throughout its run (with the exception of season 8 as a negative outlier), so I'm gonna go ahead and say naaaaaaah.

Episode 3 is airing on Disney proper next week. Episode 4 is coming to XD on September 8th, so god only knows when it'll air on the main channel.

I'm actually incredibly confused as to why this video is suddenly making the rounds today. It's been online since a couple of days after Comic-Con.

Does anyone know what's happening with Donald Glover? He's gone on two separate Twitter rants today and yesterday about I don't even know what.

I have no idea what the deal is with the narration but I like to imagine it's Katey Sagal in character as Leela.

I just realized, are there plans for any more Iron Man movies, or is he likely only showing up in the crossovers from here on out? I can't remember how many more movies RDJ has left on his contract.

I thought the hot dog sequence was great, and it was definitely helped by the fact that when the line-cutter was confronted by the people he cut, those people seemed genuinely upset and angry that they were cut in line.

The injection of the Guardians of the Galaxy into mainstream recognition happened so quickly that I honestly can't remember a time that I didn't know who the Guardians of the Galaxy were - Marvel tricked my brain into thinking I've always known about them.

Yeah, I saw that they did the first couple. I'm just not sure if maybe they outsourced just this one episode to another studio or if the rest of the series going forward will be with Yearim.

I'm fairly certain Ritter was overplaying Dipper's inability to sing. At least I hope he was, Dipper's little solo was horrible.

The show seems to have changed animation studios for this episode: previous episodes were done by Rough Draft, while this one was done by Yearim. I'm not sure if it's a permanent switch or if it only might be for certain episodes.
