Third final season for Futurama, actually, if you count the movies as a season, since that was written as a finale as well.

The most reasonable and level-headed criticism of Moffat's Doctor Who that I've seen is that Moffat is better at writing individual episodes but gets bogged down by overworking seasonal arcs, while RTD was worse at writing individual episodes but was much more needfully subtle with seasonal arcs. I don't dislike

I'm just wondering why they haven't learned sign language to at least communicate amongst each other. In the universe of the show, it would make way more sense to do that then to go around writing stuff down all the time.

I can't really tell what kind of accent Christopher Eccleston is doing. Does he just have a shaky American accent, or is he going for something else?

I've mostly quit mentally grading things since the AV Club stopped letting me (it's quite liberating, really), but that was a great pilot. Can't wait to see more.

Yeah, this is fairly old by this point. If we do get any news it'll be tomorrow, though I highly doubt it.

Yeah, it's nice to see another side of him I guess, but I feel like they've played that card to its most valuable end at this point, unless they're planning on changing it up somehow.

Am I the only one who's not a huge fan of the Daniel flashbacks? They're
fine and all, and the dream sequence of 201 was great, but I feel like
the flashbacks have kind of accomplished all they can at this point.

A big part of what drove the "seasonal arc" structure was the way that the show's episodes were ordered. Season 1 was supposed to be a standalone miniseries before season 2 was ordered, and seasons 3 and 4 were ordered simultaneously after season 2's production was well underway. It's possible that with seasons 3 and

That was six years ago? It feels like so much longer ago for some reason.

How have I never read this? This is gold.

I feel so sorry for any casual reader who just succinctly wants to know what's on TV this weekend.

Good to know that case 2 is the low point for Ace Attorney 5. I beat that case months ago and haven't gotten around to continuing the game in a while.

"Give Age Of Extinction this much credit: Of all the Transformers movies, this is the longest."

I have no idea. The only other Disney cartoon I watch is Gravity Falls, and that's a half-hour show, so there isn't any confusion there.

Apparently the episodes are lumped together by their production codes even if they air out of order. It's very confusing when looking for them online, because sometimes they'll be listed by the sequence number of the 22 minute segment, and sometimes by the sequence number of the 11 minute segment.

Weirdly, The Tourist has been online for weeks, while Fancy Party is
new, and an 11 minute segment called The Toddler is online now too. The
way that this show is indexed online is incredibly confusing.

This is all an elaborate setup to the reveal that the AV Club is picking up a sixth season of Community for their first foray into original programming.

Just watched the scenes side by side, and the only thing that changes is that on Arrow, Barry's on the phone with Felicity when he walks into his lab, and Barry's not on the phone during that scene in the pilot. On Arrow, Barry vaguely tells Felicity that he "missed the cutoff in line", which I guess technically could
