Also, I'm fairly certain that this clip confirms that there is a one semester gap between the end of season 4 and the start of season 5. Which means that if S4 was fall 2012, S5 starts at fall 2013.

Interesting that they included episodes 1, 2, and 4. They did a similar thing last year, skipping the Germans episode on the screener.

For whatever reason, I'm loving it. I don't know what it is about it, but the show just perfectly hits a sweet spot for me.

I watched the first episode and didn't really care for it at all, to the point where I almost just didn't bother finishing the episode. If I already felt this way about the pilot, do you think I'd like any of the subsequent episodes any better?

Yeah, it's weird how much Fox's comedy ratings have fallen this year. They really are last year's NBC.

Wow, Fox's 8:00 hour came in strong, with a 1.4 for Dads and a 1.6 for B99. Did something normally on at 8 take a break last night, or what?

I would doubt that he had a bad experience, but I'm pretty sure the chance to return and co-helm Community wasn't exactly one he wanted to pass up.

Reading the ranking comments on the Greendale AV club website, it's certainly a very divisive episode. Most people from what I could tell had it ranked either way low in the 60's or way high in the 20's, landing the overall ranking about smack in the middle at #37. Probably because F-Zero is a grossly underutilized Nintendo franchise which I have admittedly never once played a game of.

Mine wasn't deliberately from a video game, actually. I came up with the name in like 5th grade and later found out that it belonged to an F-Zero character.

I don't know why, but I loved the Rick and Morty pilot. It hit just the right level of outlandish what-the-fuck-ery to keep me thoroughly entertained.
