Sue casa es su casa.

Dan rubbing the burrito in Jonah's face was the first time I've really felt bad for him. He's still a massive douche, but there's something really degrading about that.

Flim Cleveland!

It might not be the "best" movie of the year, but it was the most enjoyable theater-going experience I've had in a long time. That movie was made for the big screen.

Just chiming in to agree here. Kives represents the fact that self-confidence and friendliness will do more to connect with people than anything Stuart has tried. I'm sure everyone here knows a friend who might not be conventionally attractive in some way, but is way more successful with the opposite sex than a more

I actually sort of took a perverse joy in the show's view of altruism, because in every case where I've tried to help a person in that situation (which, granted, is like three times) beyond just giving them a few bucks, it has turned out similarly. There are vagrants who really need help, but I feel like there are

"Hey, Wade's wife is riding mower accident chick from Mad Men!."

Was getting ready to throw in the towel with these guys after their last two albums, but I really like this. Despite the dark atmosphere, they sound rejuvenated.

So those Frey boys are basically the McPoyle brothers of Westeros. Got it.

Pretty solid album overall, but when it's good it's great. Can't get enough of "Retrograde."

Pretty much agreed. The songs themselves are great, but I lose patience with the aimless experimental stuff. People tend to get defensive about it in my experience, but I just don't have the patience to listen to 10 minutes of a squeaky door hinge. Too smart for me, I guess.

The Sandlot will always be my favorite, critics be damned.

This is a solid album front-to-back, but "Song for Zula"….wow. Best song I've heard this year.

Is Son Volt worth getting into? I like Wilco and Uncle Tupelo, but never really gave Farrar's project a shot. Where's a good place to start?

Justified. Ridiculous.

That song choice is inspired.

There is.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of their more melodic output. This album has a couple great tracks (The Unholy Hand, Ribcage), but the more pop-rock stuff is downright Foo Fighters-ish.
