I dated a woman who adored trip-hop, and she broke up with me on my birthday, so I can't enjoy it.

I went through a brief Civil War enthusiast phase. I went on a tour of Gettysberg, where I was young enough to be shoved off with the children to run around the woods or whatever, but old enough that I was really wanted to stay with the college students.

I wonder how the portrayal of doll fetishism compares to that of Lars and the Real Girl, but not enough to watch this.

I liked Cronenberg a bit better when his movies were weirder. Also, my tastes seem to get less sophisticated as time goes on.

I saw this when it came out and liked it so much that I bought it on DVD. Now, whenever I think about purchasing a movie, I tell myself "will you someday look at this with the same shame as Daredevil?"

Now that Keith Phipps is no longer writing here, I've taking it upon myself to read as much of his work here as I can. Unfortunately, I get an error message when I try to go beyond page 99 of the list of articles written by him.

I've done it before. I remember because a moment later I thought "I'll be damned! I didn't think that could happen."

@drdarke:disqus , in the cases of Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, and John Carradine, it was clearly not the closeness of death but lifelong habits of being game for anything.

i'm writing a movie where Michael Cera and Jesse Eisenberg are brothers competing for the affections of Aubrey Plaza. I'm working on ways to twee it up a bit
