Dollars to donuts that final episode includes some kind of coda where either Joe makes a phone call and speaks to some unknown mastermind, or there's a scene where some shadowy figure or cabal hears of his fate/plight/whatever, and continues on its or their way to something even more D+ worthy NEXT…
