Again, while it's all relative (it's scit fi fantasy tv), the writers of this low budget little show spent 20x the creative thought on their character's abilities and weakness that the Heroes staff ever did.
Not to harp, but even the 3rd season's reduced budget of Heroes would easily have paid for 3 seasons of Alphas.
