Didn't they say that Link had just been released from jail the same day this episode takes place? If his top lieutenant isn't there to oversee things, it makes sense ( to me at least) that Dominic would go in person.

I think he actually believes the nihilistic philosophy that he preaches. Also, if his gang is conducting a high level drug deal with another gang, it makes sense that he would be there.

Reese shared his intel about the kids with the DEA agent who turned out to be a mole. She followed him, the gangsters followed her.

The fact that Elias now has an inkling of the larger plot combined with the phone Scarface took in the first episode has me very excited. It's about time that Elias gets to have a bigger role in the overarching mythology of this show.

So will Alicia Florrick be a corrupt States Attorney or the most corrupt States Attorney?
This fucking show…

You seem to be suffering from the misconception that The Machine and Samaritan are glorified pieces of facial recognition software. They are fully functioning artificial intelligences capable of processing millions of sources of data. Root's hack keeps the Machine team from being identified and killed any time they

I disagree with a couple of things here. First of all, Reese has to deal with an angry police captain BECAUSE the world is ending. It isn't silly, it follows naturally from the premise that this show has been establishing since the end of last season.

If everybody else on the show is sticking out like a sore thumb, how are they sticking out at all? I get what you're saying, but I prefer to think of it as Viola Davis shining.

You're arguing against serialization and for a more case of the week focus? That makes you the antithesis of AV Club commenters.

I think the fact that Finn is already on the record as being a political opponent is enough to keep him safe. Castro is still running, so he doesn't want headlines about how he fires anybody who dares cross him.

I have to say that I absolutely love the Kalinda/Bishop dynamic, and hope it continues for awhile. It is the final evolution of all those horrendous arcs they've inflicted upon that character. Kalinda finally has an opponent who is worthy of her, and they can generate crackling tension just standing next to each other.

I hate the Cowboys as much as the next guy, but if we're going to be forced to watch them on national television at least three times a year they might as well be good.

They did find a bunch of cadavers buried in the basement of a house owned by Benjamin Franklin. The proper historical opinion is that these were the doing of a physician friend of Franklin who was staying there, as studies involving corpses were illegal at the time and had to be performed in secret. Clearly though,

My initial impression is that this is 'The Secret History' in Rhondaland. I like it. I'll like it even more if Connor starts humming Jinglebells creepily throughout the season.

She is both a genius and a highly skilled assassin. I don't see why she would need biological enhancement to be able to aim accurately.

Amy Acker as Root in Person of Interest is far more deserving than any of the best actress nominations, and I'm a fan of most of those shows.

I was so relieved that Hitting the Fan won. That is a truly remarkable episode of television,

Person of Interest- "/"

Eh, this show is at its best when its throwing a bunch of crazy shit together and mixing it all up. I'm sure Oliver's new boss(es) will evil, but probably not season-spanning evil.

Oh my god I was laughing my ass off at that too. She's going off to murder people, professionally, but they're all proud about her making her own choices. No wonder Thea is the way she is.
