Amy Acker is simply amazing. I thought that she deserved an Emmy for her work on the last season of Angel, and her work on POI is if anything even better.

Veep was on the top 40 list.
This ranking approach is complex and confusing, but I think it fits. This has been such a great year for television, with such a sheer quantity of wonderful shows, that a conventional 'best-of' list would have been even more arbitrary than usual.
God dammit, STOP MAKING SO MANY GOOD SHOWS! I have a shitty part time job, but I still can't keep up with all of the great shows that are out there.
How about you check out the master list of shows before spamming every end of year article with complaints that they didn't talk about a show that they actually did talk about?
I get the point that you are going for, but the specifics of this scenario would never lead to war. A cheap, quick passage between China and the US? The massive commercial interests of countries would move mountains to make sure that it could be exploited for their gain. This actually goes towards Redcell's point: the…
I guess her performance was alright on West Wing, but tonal shift whenever she was involved was jarring and never worked for me. It was a group of political drama writers who were trying to do teenage romance. I always thought that was a weak point of the show.
Mad Men really changed the careers of both Moss and Kartheiser, both of whom I had just known as marginal, annoying teenage actors from their previous roles. That was one of the best parts of getting into Mad Men for me: seeing those actors flourish with far better roles.
This show could actually be fascinating and worthwhile if it addresses the real issues that faced early Christianity such as debates about Jesus's humanity, a widespread sect which worshiped Judas as the most holy of the apostles and the other dramatic politics which shaped the formation of the religion. None of this…
"For anyone who has ever hoped for an in-depth explanation of all the misery, pain, and insecurity Brody Stevens’ eyebrows have caused him, this is the episode for you."
Section 31 is what Torchwood was depicted as in Season 2 of Doctor Who. It was made clear that Jack was trying to move away from those methods.
This is one of my favorite Star Trek episodes of all time, and its social commentary has only become more relevant and poignant since it aired
Is The Flash show going to debut this spring, or next fall? I was skeptical at first, but I think that this incarnation of the Flash could be a lot of fun to watch in his own show.
I do too, but there were a couple of moments when the guys were repeating the same gag for the fifth time in a few minutes where some direction from Doug would have been welcome.
I agree. I think there were a few moments where Doug should have taken more control and kept the show moving, but overall I really like the 'obnoxious guests'.
Seasons 7, 8 and 9 are much better than seasons 4, 5 and 6
If it wasn't Pakistan, it should have been 'India'. India is a name derived from the Persian name 'Sindh'- "the land of rivers', which referred to the Indus river in Pakistan.
I'm beginning to think that the Starling City News service is one of the most horribly fucked up institutions in all of television. They have absolutely no sense of perspective, hence their continued coverage of the Queen family in the wake of the mayor being assisinated or a city wide plague/hostage crisis. Also, it…
