"turn NCAA basketball and football into minor leagues than to ensure that the athletes have an education to fall back on (I will say the NFL drafting juniors and seniors is better than the NBA drafting freshmen- do you want them to go to college or not?)"

Wins the thread

Mine was the first bleeding gums murphy episode. All my 6-year old mind could remember from it was that Lisa was scared to play dodgeball, which I thought was crazy. Who doesn't love dodgeball?!

My favorite throwaway gag in this episode
The scrawny vamp who tips off the biker gang that the Slayer is a fake always cracks me up thanks to the Hanson shirt that he's wearing.

The thing that bugged me the most about Hell's Bells is that the seeds for how the episode played out were planted by Giles episodes and episodes ago (maybe even going back to season 5). I thought Giles turned into a huge backstabbing asshole in seasons 6+7 in general.

The lecture itself was fine, as far as I know. But even though it wasn't intentional on Ted's part, giving a lecture on an unfinished building and not finishing the lecture by suddenly leaving the room is just classic Douchey Ted.

I rolled my eyes at the end of Ted's 'unfinished' lecture
But it was so unmistakably Ted. Ah Douchey Ted.

Worried about Quinn as Doakes 2.0
I liked Doakes;s pursuit of Dexter because, despite the fact that he was intense 110% of the time and loved staring at things like he could shoot lasers out of his eyes, they managed to sell the fact that he was a good homocide cop and had good instincts, and was thus a fun adversary.

Girl Drink Drunk
It was always a favorite, mainly because it was based entirely on Kevin. He's always been my favorite of the Kids.

Oh man, Kohan was the absolute greatest. I wish I hadn't lost my copy a few years back

I HAVE RETURNED

Reprise is a great epsiode, but it doesn't hold a candle to Smile Time or especially You're Welcome, which is easily the best episode across all of Whedon's shows.

That's the way I read it at the time too, DPA. Pussy's shifty behavior, and the fact that it was revealed that he is a rat pretty early in season 2, was enough to convince me. Of course, I watched them on DVD and not as they aired, so maybe I didn't have enough time to convince myself he wasn't

The other great thing about this episode is that it set up Lies My Parents Told Me, which is easily one of my top 5 favorite episodes.

They refer to it as "the Irish Language" in Ireland, not Gaelic

Maybe there was a Reverse Vampire hiding in the house and it cancelled out the usual invitation issue.

Dark Incantations
SO overwritten

FWIW, I remember linking Behind The Laughter, but it was just for one gag. Whenever they had their 'up next' before the commercials, it flashed

I made the mistake of using Jurassic Bark as my example when describing how awesome the show was to my skeptical wife. Now she refuses to watch it, for the off-chance that that episode comes on because she knows she'd be crying all day afterwords

If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.
