The show's lame-ass attempt at emulating a good show like Hannibal. Scandal is the worst.

Joe Morton's "epic monologues" are what have driven many of the show's viewers away. They are beyond unwatchable. We're talking Kimmy Gibbler levels of annoying-aiety and tedium.

This took me a moment. But I'm glad I took that moment, because your post is easily the funniest thing I've read for at least a week, if not longer.

I don't think the eccentric old man schtick is the ruse. The real ruse is that he's a human being with feelings. That one scene a few episodes back where he was rehearsing his lines with a live mic was so telling. He's "auditioning" to be a non-sociopath. I knew that in the textbook sense that this is what those with

We literally jumped off of our sofa screaming at the big reveal last week. And we did the same again tonight. For some reason we can only watch The Jinx standing up with our jaws on the ground. Sitting doesn't seem to work for that program.

I guarantee you will love it!
How goes the grad school apps? And what are you applying for exactly? Grad school is awful btw. I developed an anxiety disorder in grad school and had to go to student mental health, and it was so damn funny because every single person in the waiting room was from my program. Keep in

I'd watch The Jinx sooner rather than later if you can swing it time-wise. It's going to be in the press a lot over the coming weeks for various reasons which I don't want to disclose. Hop on that train, ICP! I don't want to spoil anything for you, but let's just say it did not turn out to be the 20/20 murder mystery

The cast is absolutely killin' it. To your point, there's room for improvement on the writing front, but it's so good by network standards that I'm willing to give the show the benefit of the doubt.
Have you been watching The Jinx? If not, I very highly recommend doing so. The finale of the 6-part documentary airs

I can't entirely disagree with you on the clunky thing, but as far as network goes, this is one of the best. Just watched the first two eps and I'm kind of on board here. The ensemble I feel is doing really well. Some of the situations go a bit too much for the obvious for my tastes, but overall it's… not bad!
When

If by blunt you mean obnoxious, then I fully agree!

Yes, and I fell for that one last season too. I had Drew in my pick 4 and now I have Jenn in this season's pick 4. I feel so unclean now.

"Jenn was a one week wonder"
Truer words have ne'er been spoken.

In an age when the Middle East is a powder keg, England and Greece are threatening to destabilize the EU and Germany is basically getting held at gunpoint to hand over its ATM card, Putin wants to take over the world, Netanyahu is riling up conservative American politicians to go fight another war we don't belong in,

The cops suck in general. Are they racist? Oh absolutely. I'm white and I've seen it with my own eyes. But more generally speaking, they're dicks to everyone. Gay men, women, minorities, other white men, etc. Their dickishness knows no bounds. There needs to be some sort of mechanism to remind them that we pay their

Ha!

VetthePress is obviously insane and wears his racism proudly on his sleeve. But in all fairness, I have heard "thug" used for all races. It may well be a coded word in some circles, but luckily I am not a member of such circles.

You may stop speaking now.

I never assumed someone with a disability is a helpless little flower who needs to be coddled, you moron. I was saying how hard is it to look at someone to let him/her see your mouth while you're speaking and while enunciating clearly. Best to paraphrase what I actually was saying as opposed to your warped view of

Ok. This obviously is not a conversation worth continuing.

Your point is exactly what the problem I'm trying to get across. Rather than make any attempt to speak to someone with a disability that affects their ability to communicate, people tend to isolate them and write them off as "awkward." That very precisely is the point I was making.
