I liked The 39 Steps, but for me Hitchcock's later films aren't in the least bit suspenseful. I guess it is simply a matter of taste, but I never got the hype. I don't care for a single Tarantino film (in its entirety) even though certain scenes are very powerful.

Haven't seen it in a while……and it may be that I am simply dim, but I remember trying to explain what was going on to my wife and in-laws after the "is it safe" scene………and being at a complete loss.
