@avclub-b15c09f68d56c3bd35de82aefd6702bd:disqus I am such a fountain of pointless trivia!! I also remember reading that it was an outside studio suggestion that they put the scene in with Tim maybe being in the bar with another guy. It was an intentional mind-f*** that the writers were told to include just to cause

We weren't aware of Rachel's marriage. I believe they pulled that one out of their asses.

I was/ am waiting for Lindsay to rip him off. Maybe that would be too easy a turn, but I wouldn't be letting her know that I had thousands of dollars in my dresser.

Doesn't bode well for the show either. Searcy is a solid actor.

I get the feeling they're making up Tim and Rachel's backstory as they go along. I read an interview with Jacob Pitts once where he said he tried to go all Stanslovsky on the writers and get all the information he could on Tim, and they didn't have any.

From a quarter-inch cut? I dunno- I fixated on it, and then I started thinking about it…dumb stuff like, "do MPs have to wear the military crew cut?" And it just took me out of the moment. ;)

My willing-supension-of-disbelief was disrupted when Rose said he'd be asked to end his service 6 months ago? Did I hear that right? Because, if he only left the MPs 6 months ago, his hair grows super-fast.

I'm great at reading too much into things, but when my husband watched this, his reactions was "that's a really dumb place to hide money". And Boyd isn't dumb, so either the writing was a little lazy or Boyd intends for it to be found? (?). The first thing I thought of when Boyd climbed up there was the episode where

He could've been protecting Raylan…come on, it could happen.

I liked it, although I was exhausted by the end. Almost too many twists and turns. I'm most interested in the Colton character, probably because I miss Devil. And the creepy, silent "sister" at the church revival.
I'm in the camp that's firmly in favor of very small doses of Payton Oswalt. He wasn't too much in this

Yeah, I thought he was a client that she had a threesome with on the episode where Dewey is pretending to be Raylan. I get the feeling Ella Mae has the birth control thing under control.

We do Dr Pepper and Mr. Pibb up here on the northern plains, too. Maybe it's the high gun-to-people ratio. Red states prefer Dr Pepper?

She peed while Tom Cruise watched in "Eyes Wide Shut". I'm sorry that I remember that. Anyway, that should be all we need of Nicole Kidman peeing on camera.

What rock were people under in the 80s and 90s that they didn't know about Women's Studies until college? Is it because I grew up in a college town? My friends and I were very aware of feminism and women's issues.

No Doubt has a new album out. It's basically advertising. (She said with great cynicism.)
