Wow, it's been so long since I watched "Fringe" that your name didn't ring a bell at first.

PS. You said, "making it harder".

Oooh…nice. I felt like Karen's placement in show was really contrived. I think I was the only one who hated her, but I did (I also- shoot me- have a preference for J.Lo as Sisco).
This would give Karen purpose beyond being a hot chick. I could tolerate her then.

"Couple-y" with Quarles seems to end with someone being tied to a bed screaming. That doesn't bode will for Wynn.
I liked the eating leftovers because it felt like Quarles trying to maintain something like a normal life. Obviously, he's failing miserably, but I think it shows he's losing his grip. Or it means that

In spite of my continued (and probably annoying) championing of the fringe characters, Art is my favorite person on the show. Searcy is a great actor, and this is like his niche. What a perfect person for the part.

I think he's cocky as hell. Mr. "I Never Miss". Could easily be his downfall.

Shao Ping- yes, I realize that, but it's fun to make up crazy stuff in my mind.

Season three has been more meandering. It's like a clean-up season from season two. I'm still enjoying it myself, but it's definately a different kind of storytelling. I'm withholding judgement until the end of the season, but how they tie it together is going to be very important to me.

Why wouldn't it be? He's sick of Raylan, and Art hasn't been able to keep a lid on him. I think it makes sense.

Raylan meets a lot of the criteria for having adult ADHD.

This whole thread made me laugh. Do any of us like this show? And yet we persist in watching it? So either we're all sadists or there's something worthwhile in it. It's sort of hypnotizing- it's like I don't realize how lame it is while I'm watching it. It's not meant to be thought about.

"they had to force feed so much info because you can't count on an American audience to know anything about anything…"

I was with the episode up to that point. It was just overkill. Hitler is creepy enough already. Showing him as a creature wasn't necessary.

Still convinced she's going to turn into a creature at some point. She's just too weird and kind of weird-looking as well.

Agreed, but I also think Sammy's bringing it up was him calling attention to what he saw as loose spending by Quarles- a reason to not give him another $50K.

@avclub-3e4d20980bad82814414cb12fecc0e18:disqus - That is totally what is behind my husband's theory that Tim is the leak to the FBI. He thinks the writers are plotting to get Tim killed/fired/sent away.

So I didn't ruin it for you by saying that Raylan is living above the bar? ;)

Spoiler re: the book "Raylan", I guess:

Taking back my previous reply.
Two people in the FBI found out, not the whole bureau. I still think it's possible. The other watcher in my household has decided that Tim is the leak, that he's feeding Raylan bad information or just enough tidbits to get Raylan in trouble.
Can we also assume that the woman in the van at

Again, I agree because the image of Tim (or anyone) hiding in a tree is too awesome to dismiss.
