And the fact that she paused for so long after Don's announcement showed how much hurt she was by it. Too dark
Betty's pause at the end was so brutally sad. She wants to get back with Don, and part of me was hoping Don would take her up on the offer and they'd get back together and Sally's psychologist would help Betty stop being a maniac and everyone would be happy after that. Jesus, this show is too fucking dark.

It's a shame that
This show gets B's and The Big Bang Theory gets B's too. Even on a Mad Men grading scale this episode was terrific.

I'm dying to find out its title/composer. If only AMC would list their music credits like HBO does for their shows my life would be complete.

I think I read somewhere that they hired more female writers for this season to appeal to a female audience, which would make sense. All the women in the show are right, and the men are embarrassed by their faults and the smart women who point them out. This script reads a lot more like something from a Lifetime…
