The Feds stubbornly refuse to learn anything about any of the superweapons they've been exposed too.

Tape it on, keep it on, and transport them right in the middle of everyone. It will all work out just as well.

And that's not even considering the Transporter problem. Remember when they doubled Riker? Imagine if you didn't care about the state of your Riker, perhaps, if he was a genetically engineered super soldier. Just transporter replicate more, on the planet's surface.

I agree, but with the caveat that this is the philosophy that got us all that nonsense at the end of BSG and Lost. Character is important, but having it not all be magic at the end is pretty important too.

Orphan Black would be my crossed fingers second season show, just because the show is still sitting on a lot of its mythology and worldbuilding right now, and its entirely possible that those central mysteries aren't as impressive as you'd expect. But probably not as bad as the ones in Lost or Heroes, at least.

Well, they do make the point that Marshall had a full head of hair before he started campaigning against Alcide the Shirtless Werewolf.

Have you seen Return of the Living Dead on TV? My my, there was some pretty extensive and lengthy nudity that basically cuts a whole character out. I was expecting a bit more gore watching it on DVD… not naked zombie redheads.

There is a prequel in there somewhere, First Raiders of the Lost Ark, following an elite squad of Egyptians trying to neutralize a cult's superweapon.

It probably would have felt longer if you were George IV drunk too.

The jump cut is your friend. If we showed her stabbing herself in himiney himeny hummina, the whole FCC would be up here in 5 minutes.

It is about the sweetest case of statutory rape ever.

Watching any Tarintino movie on TV is hilarious.

Who is going to blow up first, Al Pacino, or the volcano!

Yeah, seriously. A roman nobleman would have at least 3 or 4 names. Gaius Julius Cladius Tiberius would disapprove.

I was interested to learn recently that the area around Naples and Pompeii actually invented gladiatorial games, and the Romans imported it at first as a guilty foreign pleasure, and a way to keep the bloodlust up during peacetime.

Ah, I must have been remembering the number convicted. For some reason I had learned of it being more of a battle, rather than just a mass arrest. My apologies, France, for being less crummy than I had thought.

That's fair, but you have to imagine Monaco would get sanctioned pretty quick if they pulled supervillain crap, or even if they had an enslaved population. But Europe is better than it was even 20 years ago. Now, it would be cool if Doom just took over North Korea, and the only thing people noticed is a dramatic
