That's what should happen. A GOTHIC universe, not some action spectacle. I have a hard time seeing how Phantom and especially, the Hunchback, would fit into today's world. They were carefully constructed period pieces.

This was another solid episode that really seems to point toward the inevitable more than any other. There was a certain satisfaction in Jimmy's take down of that supervisor but we can all see Saul in the open and that's scary.

"Let's Karloff this thing." I love that line. That was made for people like me. I absolutely love that Boris Karloff is referenced on a mainstream(?) television show.

Powers Boothe was a fantastic character actor and a welcome presence in nearly everything he appeared in. He was best suited for action and tough guy parts, right down to his undeniably awesome name.
I remember him best in a pair of Walter Hill sleepers, Southern Comfort(1981) and Extreme Prejudice(1987.) In the

What makes the show great for me, is that I find both so equally compelling. They are very different men, very different characters and yet it works so incredibly well. At times, it feels like two different shows but never forced.

BRILLIANT episode of the series and perhaps and all-time best. This plays out like one of those classic court room dramas, complete with all the requisite suspense and plot twists. The truly great thing about this show is that while we all saw the plant coming, it was that damn reaction that made the payoff that much

The picture they used at the top makes this seem so sad!

Probably, Sacrificial Suicide by Deicide, Nuns Have No Fun by Mercyful Fate or Regurgitated Guts By Death.

Man is the warmest place to hide.

It definitely shows, too.

They are a double edged sword for sure. They influenced many of the greatest rock acts of all times and some of the worst. They lead the way for hard rock and heavy metal and unfortunately, some very substandard knockoffs.

I love your name. Great comedy!

Yeah, that line of 70s albums were incredibly solid and certainly rank among the best in hard rock. They were always best when they were heavy. It was when they started to write so many of those damn pop ballads that the writing was on the wall.

For a crime boss, Gus Fring is pretty likable. He has a human quality that makes him compelling. He really does seem to care about his employees. He also seems to have a sense of justice. He's not some mad dog killer type, like say Tuco, but much more focused and controlled. That line he eases out about what Hector

The duality of man!

I had watched the film recently after probably a decade and was appalled by how largely unfunny it was. There was so much talent involved that it seemed like a surefire thing and instead was a major miscalculation.

Funny Farm is definitely a better movie than The Great Outdoors. What a waste of a good cast and a real slump for a talented director/writer.

This was one of the most heavy metal movies ever made.

It was very touching. That's the heart of this show.

This is a show made by people who love westerns.
