I admit that I actually found the ending to be a mild diversion from this boring season. It was completely unexpected and random that it just made my jaw drop. Usually I can see these things coming, like most of you, having seen so many seasons. This was a shocker, though.

One of the great movies. Modern comedy filmmakers could learn much from it. This is perhaps the definitive screwball comedy and that's really saying something when considers how fantastic most of them were in this period.

THE YAKUZA is one of the greatest action films ever made. It is a crying shame that so few have seen it. The film is one of the best combinations of sword and gunplay ever filmed. That final action sequence with Takakura armed with a katana and Mitchum storming in with a double barreled 12 gauge and a .45 is among the

Do you have any idea what sort of horrors you have unleashed?

Cronenberg seemed to always get the best out of his lead performers and I think Walken was never better than he is here. THE DEAD ZONE would rank for me as one of the finest horror films of the 1980s and one of the 100 best of all time. It's that emotional undercurrent that always made Cronenberg's work more

It's certainly one of the all-time greats.

The poor monster.

That sounds like Flesh For Frankenstein!

Upvote for the screen name.

This has become the party line every time anyone talks about the movie. Some people react better in crisis situations than others. Ben (Duane Jones) was the nominal hero but made all sorts of mistakes that got people killed. Harry was a control freak and something of a bigot and his own ego got the best of him in the

I don't know how I feel about this one. The last film was actually quite good (and very, VERY bloody) and seemed like a good capper for the series.

What's the matter?
The CIA got you pushing too many pencils?!

Why remake a film this great?

Yes, this was highly offensive. It was like the Holocaust, the Spanish Inquisition, the raping of Nanking, the Rwandian genocide and Dane Cook rolled into one.

I wouldn't say he was a bad one, either. He was spot on about the classics, even if some of his reviews during a certain period (typically the 70s to late 80s) are more than questionable. I think in the limited space he had, his reviews did the job.

Gorgo rules.

Why?

Long live TCM.

I thought the same.

Roll OVER, Beethoven!
