I hope we are all prepared for the coming apocalypse.
I hope we are all prepared for the coming apocalypse.
Yeah, I'd settle for that. It's a shame that once the whole "other" part of the prophecy came up, she didn't really do much with it.
I was going to make a "Get off the internet, dad!" joke, but my dad actually has pretty good taste in music anyways and realizes none of those things are really necessary for music, but fuck it:
If only. Seeing someone try to do the Byron the Bulb part would be worth it alone.
Reading V right now. It's pretty enjoyable though not as good as Gravity's Rainbow—even though it features a lot of the same themes and even some characters.
Construction really isn't that fulfilling, and there isn't suddenly not some asshole trying to use you to get a little bit richer—that's just America.
Yeah, plus "Hudson" doesn't really work following up "Ya Hey." Makes me want to skip it more.
I just about physically hated Waiting….
They plan on doing a whirlwind of The Wire features around the launch of a certain site in July.
Yeah, maybe you make it at least after the second trial (which is what causes Neville's confidence boost, right?). If you time it just right, you could also have Harry's death being the cause for Neville learning more and shit.
@avclub-10e60fa84b4c7c8d1f0c166bd731058a:disqus Wasn't that just about every book after the first?
Yeah, that's why I mention it zeroing in on him. Maybe you spin it so that Harry had to die for yadda yadda yadda if you don't want to get too dark on it. Or it could just be "whoops, we understood the prophecy wrong, it was Neville." I was always a bit upset the seventh book focused so little on the resistance at the…
If the fourth book had Harry Potter getting shot at the Yule Ball and the rest of the series swerving to focus on the other characters—perhaps even zeroing in on Neville Longbottom—the entire series would have been a million times more interesting.
It seems like every time these guys put an album out, it's after something really shitty has just happened.
Actually, I thought I remember reading he hadn't "technically" made a bomb since Dune due to international box offices, but I can't seem to find anything about that on a quick search. I'm sure that's still not getting people to line up at his door, though.
Yeah, for sure. His is the only other one's I've noticed it in I guess.
The whole no title until the end has sort of been Chris Nolan things lately too hasn't it?
Oh man, he's still around? I used to chat all the time with that dude on MySpace when I was just making music and posting it there. He kept wanting to write something together, but then I got busy with shit. That's cool that he's like legit and shit now.
"it also managed to imply that a significant number of the Gestapo were gays who were into S&M"
I thought it was more that he couldn't get funding. If he started a kickstarter, it'd be the first one I've given money to.
