Where's "Where's Firefly?"
Where's "Where's Firefly?"
I'll take it, make it look sexy and fun, and sell it for a higher price!
I bet you can always find work as an escalator repairman.
Yeah, I don't know. I actually like them too, but that comment does give me pause. I suppose we'll just have to see. I definitely don't like the Buzzfeed style Featured Content shit though.
@avclub-b63f73301fe289a7c258eb2e3f4986ce:disqus That's true. A Blu Ray player that has a good upscaler in it can do wonders to DVDs.
Yeah, I've seen this. I'm just starting to suspect the actual intention behind this kind of stuff after Scott's suspicious "No comment" comment over on the Panic in the Streets review.
My joke on twitter was that they do a Streisand take on "Bodies."
Maybe they'll do a mash-up!!!
@avclub-534b36b22aab256cdb15c38b66ea1a74:disqus He also thinks TV can be this sincere, real thing, but that it's also something we have to be careful not to latch onto too much. Schur loves the book (I think he wrote his thesis on it), and apparently, he owns the movie rights.
Last Action Hero needs more respect.
Eh, so long as it's not the reason people like Phipps and Tobias are leaving.
I Spotify it, and if it's an album I really like, then I spring for the vinyl.
Whoever thought of that title is a real asshole.
I liked it, but I felt bad about it.
They were too busy…
The entire fuckload of bread scene is my favorite.
@avclub-6cc027d1eec4ea0bb34b0d12647974d9:disqus But it won in The Commies!
You don't have to repurchase your collection, as @avclub-cfe912f5cb3aa572bd1c9ae2a9b82207:disqus noted. Just buy new stuff or films you think are improved by the new standard (of which there are many, particularly as it's caused studios to resource and restore prints that have otherwise been poorly treated).
So have we figured out if these are just ads yet?
Why the ugh? Blu Ray is great.
Uh oh.
