When it first came out I thought it sucked and my opinions changed over time I guess. I wouldn't put it up there as best of all time but I'll admit it grew on me. I don't know if I'm in the minority on this one, but I thought it ran way too long that it should have.

I'll put it out there: I love Family Guy…and American Dad. Also Simpsons, South Park, dang, even King of the Hill (in retrospect). Even Family Guy, at its random referencing best, can be very funny.
I like Stewie. I like Brian. Sometimes the show sucks. But I do think Family guy realizes a component of its audience is

As horrible as Alan Gregory was, this was worse.

Sure, but take it with a grain of salt. The show has evolved, for better or worse, and I think that taints how we originally remember these episodes. These early seasons are so formative for Matt and Trey, in hindsight, that there is a lot of polarization (at least between the review and posters). I enjoyed!

I'd love to see this in an hour format. It would be perfect and the story would flow better.
Really a turning point in Louie's filmmaking career. Because that's really what this was: a three part small film that is basically, as has been mentioned, Rocky for comedians. Louie is Rocky.  A skilled but down on his luck

I hate how in the R/B version, scenes fade out like its going to commercial then fade right back in.

For some reason, I hated Spooky Fish for a while but over time, its grown on me. B.
Manson episode I loved. The Cartman family tree is hilarious and I still get shivers about how Cartman hits his little cousin in the head. B+ / A- for me.

just a few years before my time. I caught the tail end of this. I remember when Nirvana came on the radio for the first time and it was clearly a new era. Whatever had proceeded grunge and "alternative" was quickly buried in my consciousness.

Wilfred's not that bad. It grows on you.
