I always thought Lo Truglio was the forgotten member of the State. So friggin funny though.

While I'm sure the kingdom's finances would thrive under the leadership of Littlefinger, I am not so sure about his military expertise or prowess on the battlefield. .

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

Its an interesting scene in both the book and show. Basically, everyone in the room knows Cressen is trying to poison Mel. She wins out because she demonstrates to all she is not affected. I was hoping the season opened with this scene but I understand the constraints of the format.

Daenerys: Dragons are power

When my wife saw an episode of Raising Hope, there was an immediate "is that the girl from Goonies?"

saw it this weekend based on this review. Loved it. Great performance by Stiffler. Lots of heart.

I remember the parents in their robes

Heston's character in True Lies reminds me of an older Nick Fury

To me, its not just the accent, but the faux-Shakespearean tonality you hear in so many Roman period pieces. Anyhoo, I don't have a better suggestion but even though I can't stand Mel, I thought the Passion of the Christ did a pretty good job of portraying how Romans and common-folk acted back then. Great article Jason. It always brings me back when AV Club covers 90's "alternative."

They should come out with a whole comic dedicated to Loki's sexcapades. I'd like to see him hit on the Giantess and his wife's reaction when he came home late.

The reverse seems to be true on film: The Avengers seem more "realistic"(if that's possible) than the X-men. The whole mutant

Good to see Hulk do more than just "Hulk smash"

Holy shit, I don't think I've ever had to turn off a trailer because it was so boring. Atlas Shrugged, I salute you!

Richard

No, I only hang with Scorcese.

I never paid this show any heed. I saw this review last week and kept it in the back of my head.
Lo and behold, bored as shit one Saturday night and on comes the Vengeance marathon. Five eps in a row. With the knowledge that this episode was "the best episode of '12" so far, according to AVClub, I stuck around. I was

I hear ya but for some reason, I love that shot of the bird flying into George.

Copland is totally underrated. Stallone actually acts in that movie. He isn't superman in Copland - he's a mildly retarded half-def, not respected sheriff.
You get some great actors doing their grittiest.
