I loved the concept of Dollhouse. but peeps  came down pretty hard on my nerdness on that. First six episodes centered around   finding it's footing while Echo/Eliza looked sexy while in  danger. Joss only started fleshing it out later on. Even the opening titles made me a roll my eyes, and as a replicant that's odd.

Sounds like a plan for every Suday night..post show that is.

As much as I loathe a "Pete" episode, this one touched on all the nuance that is MM ep. Was in discussion and people kept saying it jumped the shark. Last week was a glimmer of the old MM dripping with Twin Peaks unease. "Signal 30" finally got back on track.

I think they are two of the few who jumped off the acting train early enough so it was a better change over. I guess I'm just seeing a natural progression from producing credits on t.v. on so many shows, as a segway into getting to direct an episode..than fully directing a project.

Directing is where actors go when they age. If one is lucky enough.
