Hearing Tim Heidecker not do his standard Tim Heidecker schtick is really weird-in a good way! What an interesting, thoughtful dude.  I would love to hear more of the actual Tim.

Right.  He's kind of made a career out of playing Denzel Washington - charming, stern but caring, older gentleman.  When he is able to get out of that role, he really excels (Training Day, Man on Fire, Malcolm X).  Challenge yourself, Denzel!  It's good for you.
