I think about Ben Stiller the same way I think about Jack Black and Zach Galifinaikis:  Brilliantly funny character actors who accidentally got promoted to leading man status.  When Ben Stiller can just pop up here and there and be funny, he's great.  When you ask him to carry a movie, the results are, uh, mixed.
