Yup, this is exactly where I thought Jude's concerns sprung from.  I'd be surprised if it doesn't prove to be the case.  Worked in Lone Star (the film).

While I agree the morning-after suspicion about Al was well done, I have mixed feelings about the show making him a suitor for Robin.

Me, four … oh, I'm a little late to this.  Needed something to watch after Hannibal finished its first season, and this is fitting nicely.

And what's more, he knew how to treat a female impersonator.   Ooh, sorry, sorry, wrong show.

I once farted myself awake during The African Queen.  Fortunately for everyone the class seating was fairly spaced out.

Watched it last week.  What comes across is a humble guy ("the writers are so smart") who cared very much about what he was doing — and obviously that care came across in an endlessly watchable performance.  RIP JG.
