The dinner scene really was aces. The writers have been doing a great job with the Countess's and Mary's biting, but seemingly polite on the surface, dialogue. Such fun.

It is my favorite too. From what I understand, Lynch jettisoned the prepared script (with its Arthurian lady-in-the-lake imagery) and just started improvising. If the legend is true, he really is light years ahead of every other director out there.
Seconded!
This news doesn't really excite me, but one thing I will say for Letterman is that his putting Antony & the Johnsons on his show on multiple occasions, will always be appreciated.
According to Mark Frost, Lynch never wanted to solve the murder:
It is all such great news.
Thank fucking god!
It is great how "F" reviews of shows are almost always deserving of an "A" grade. Hating something seems to bring out the best in reviewers. Even more so than loving something.
This is true. At least it is an option though. I've been wondering why John Waters hasn't given Kickstarter a try. From what I've heard he's had trouble getting traditional funding streams to support his work lately and willing to bet Kickstarter would work for him.
That show was pretty good. Too bad it had so few viewers.
Tsunamis are signs of god's wrath due to our collective move towards tolerance for Ms. Walsh.
Kan't Kuite Kompute.
I think you are right about Lawless having some input on the character. She is elevating the whole affair. It is so nice to have her back in a role that appreciates her after the AoS debacle.
I think we found a new addition to the Nurse With Wound List.
Yes. I love horror in general and have been inured to fictional violence for the most part, but these last couple of episodes have had some scenes that have disturbed me just a bit.
That had to be a Spartacus reference. How could it not be?
āIām tired of people not treating me like the gift that I am.ā
There is something about that guy that makes me want to turn the channel every time he comes on the screen. I can't explain what it is about him that is so viscerally revolting, but there ya go.
I am with on that sentiment. It seems like they are going for a more straight forward procedural type of story telling. Too bad.
This means there is going to be a sudden need for mullet sporting actresses with 6 ribs, massive breast and butt implants, and the ability to broke-back pose with impunity.
