I though that, structurally, this episode was the best one. The scenes were shorter, the dialogue was slower and less sloppy, overall it felt like a more complete episode. Complaining about what the show "has to say" is writing it off. While I don't think this show is great, or necessarily even good, I think people

I don't necessarily believe that this show is bad at it's core, and I do believe there will be better episodes in the future, but I think this was a horrible guttersnipe of an episode. However, this episode wasn't bad because of Sorkin's personal views (which are no more or less dreadful than anything else on HBO, even

I don't know is this is Brosher, but everyone should listen to the last B.S. Report Podcast that Bill Simmons does. He interviews Louis for over an hour and Louis talks about how much he loves boxing.

If every proceeding episode if this show mentions the New York Jets as the reason why America is the greatest country on Earth, then it is the greatest show on earth.

I don't know if I can get into this new season without the mandatory 55 sec per episode of McDermbutt that is shoved all over my eyes.

I think that basically everything you said was valid and is actually very fair, true criticism. I just don't knock the show as a piece of art, just because I think it's artist is a munch.

I'm glad that voting can be considered a major generational accomplishment. Also, there would be no Facebook without the Internet. Plus, there are plenty of people that argue that the invention of Facebook is a negative thing that just gets in the way when people want to buckle down and actually do some work.

I sort of feel that people who are super-critical of this episode are just patting themselves on the back for knowing how Aaron Sorkin does his thing. Very few people watched this not knowing what they were getting, and only see their "rightness" as an affirmation of how intelligent they are.

The fact that a comment section on a television review can explode with blind hate over three words is pretty demonstrative of how bad of a generation we are.

Did anyone notice that Jesse Eisenberg was the dude on the phone on the telecast?

I think that a lot of criticism of the Pilot is overblown. Sure, some of it was underwhelming, but at times it was quite good. It might not be GoT good, but it's not nearly Made in America bad.
