Bob just happily eating the French Fry was my favorite moment of the episode. I just love how non-nonchalantly it was animated combined with Benjamin's deadpan delivery.

I have no idea what Time Bandists is and I'm in Vegas, so it's not just you Canada, eh.
It felt like Homer's revelation that the fleetingness of time made life special was a very depressing metacommentary on the show itself. After all once this episode ends we'll most likely never see Lisa's older girlfriends and in no way will these characters age.
When you put it that way Teddy is basically Bill Dauterive. Only major difference is that Bill was far more emotionally damaged where Teddy just likes to keep thinking forward.
Actually being terrified of Louise? Even Mr. Frond isn't that pathetic. Dr. Yap just didn't have the time to be the center of attention.
It's an animator's show because they got a cool cartoonist to do a minute long couch sequence? No, I'm sorry that's wrong. The regular Simpsons animation since around Season 10 has in general been lifeless with every character rigidly on model, not far off from the blandness of Hannah-Barbara shorts.
The Lego "INSERT POPULAR FRANCHISE" video games actually have a good sense of humor, nothing new of course but it's solid Slapstick Humor.
I found VH1 on the TV regularly in my teen years because my mom regularly watched the Celebrity Reality Shows, Best Week Ever was actually bright spot in an otherwise horrid block of television since one of the comics (from my memory it was mostly Tompkins, Scheer, or Christian Finnegan) would usually pull a good joke.
They brought back Peep Show after a dreaded absence so there's hope pal.
Those Netflix customers who watched all 9 Seasons of The X-Files will collectively think, "I should have stopped at Season 6."
So the highly anticipated appearance of "Jedi Wookie" Lowbacca will not be appearing in Star Wars 7, 8, 9?
I don't remember Jaime expressing anger toward rape and rapists, but I assume that this was toward violent rapists, the type you see when Soldiers rape and pillage.
"being outraged over a rape scene that shouldnt have been a rape scene doesn't make you a crazy feminist man hating devil"
Both Cerseis are psychopaths but they do have an undying love for Joffrey. I simply think it was bizarre for her novel counterpart to want to be with Jaime especially in that room.
I agree it's more demeaning for a woman to be forced naked in society than it is for a man. A man being naked is often the source of comedy, see "The Emperor's New Clothes" or "The Stone of Triumph" from The Simpsons.
"but the fact remains is that they threw some rape into the show and never really dealt with the aftermath."
First off I'm utterly baffled when people hold Game of Thrones to the standards of adaptations to Shakespeare. A Song of Fire and Ice while epic in volume is still a pulpy narrative that's far from perfect. So I simply don't mind when D&D alter the story, this simply isn't MacBeth.
I ate a Twix Bar with a knife and fork. It really dignified the candy-cookie bar combination.
"Oh look the team is playing really badly now, in reference to that time George bought the Yankees cotton shirts."
For me it's Marshmellow > Louise > Bob > Tina > Gene > Linda.
