That tumblr is awesome. Really opened my eyes to the bullshit "minimalist" industry

Is Chris Hardwick loathed within the Internet community as a whole, or is this just an AV Club thing? I find it odd that he's successfully branded himself as the omnipresent face of fan culture, but that's about as far as my thoughts go for him.

I saw a tweet saying he was Exec Producer when they announced, but maybe someone jumped the gun. I haven't seen it written anywhere else

But… but… Christopher Nolan is executive producing!

I think this is a good way to go about a Batman reboot. Will avoid the clumsy origin story arc that usually bogs down the first movie

One of the benefits of learning to shoot on film is gaining the discipline of doing everything else correctly. It's way too easy to just turn the Canon to auto mode and just shoot away because hey it's 1080p and 24 frames per

Vince Gilligan comes across as one of the nicest and most timid showrunners ever. His demeanor on his podcast paints him as one of those "just happy to be here" guys and by all reports he accommodates his staff very well. Such a contrast to the show itself.

He wanted more money, AMC said they would if he allowed for more commercial time during the episodes. He said no, and that's where the hubbub started (as far as I remember).

WORST PERIOD SHARK MOVIE PERIOD EVER PERIOD

I enjoyed the book but could not decide if I genuinely liked it or just liked it because I don't read a lot of mysteries.

WHO'S GONNA PLAY THE GIRL?!

I am ready to admit that these "ready to admit" people are terrible.

I hated it as a kid, but now I love it!

A musical based on a movie based on a candy based on a movie based on a book

I'm going to buy the paperback and Kindle editions, and read them side-by-side, because I'm confused between the two formats.

wait how was the reviewer able to even hear this? He doesn't have a Galaxy phone.

I thought Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs was everyone's introduction to Klosterman. At least that's what my college was like.

His line in Visible Man about guys running home after work to masturbate, not exactly for sexual release or pleasure, but just to "get it out of the way" I thought was very astute. It's one of the only lines from the book I remember. That and how joggers fucking hate bringing their house keys along.

I'm always amused at how bloated the opening credits are for Dexter. The fucking title sequence is over 2 minutes long, and the episode credits are still overlayed onto the first 2 or 3 minutes of the show.
