I don't think it's that unpopular an opinion. I'm a bigger fan of seasons 5-7 because it became a really oddball show, rather than typical family-fare.

"like “Joey The Rat”’s indie-rock dreamworld or the ongoing fugue state in which Griffin “Griff” Hawkins occasionally works on “claymash” and elaborate tabletop games. "
Huh. I watched this show religiously, and somehow I forgot that Doogie had leukemia as a child. I don't even remember that detail.
I Never thought that Little Women montage was meant to be taken as a literal night. I thought that the darkness represented her mind while she was writing, and the light came when she finished. In the book, this point is shown with Jo writing the book and not seeing anyone, even Friederich, and rarely coming out of…
I think they might be going in the direction of having Penny act out because she feels 'less than' compared to the rest of the group. They'll make us feel bad for her so we forgive her bitchiness. It kind of works with Sheldon - everytime he talks about how human interaction is hard for him, I feel a little pang of…
Both my husband and I laughed a little harder than we should have at that too. It wasn't so much that she was laughing at the old man (which is an awful thing to do), it was how she sold it.
I'm Bernadette's size (WAY smaller boobs) and I get plenty of my casual clothes from the Old Navy boys section. For professional clothes, I do prefer to buy regular sizes and get them fitted.
And we definitely need more Stuart!
Some high school flashbacks for me too, but not because of the plethora of AP classes. I was the only introvert in a large family of extroverts and always felt lonely, even though I shared a bedroom with two sisters. Alex discovering that in therapy had me near tears.
I always appreciate a good Ed reference. Well done!
I've given up trying to explain/justify why I like BBT. Because it's not my type of show. But I like it anyway (especially the past two seasons) and I really can't explain it.
I've watched the show since the beginning, usually in spite of myself because I do like single-camera sitcoms better. It would pile up in my DVR, then I'd get sick of it being there and watch it to clear it out. It was enjoyable enough as a show to watch while folding laundry or nursing my baby.
I just learned that tentacle porn is a thing about two days ago. And this is now the third reference I've seen to it in the last two days.
Nobody asked for this. What did we do to deserve this?
Waiting for full information before making judgment? That just makes too much sense.
I'm so glad to see this interview here. Judy Blume's importance to me can't be overstated. Next to my mother, Judy Blume did more than anyone else to get me through a really unhappy and rocky adolescence.
They did update it. Margaret's maxi pads now stick to her underwear.
In an interview years ago, Judy said she was working on a book from Alison's point-of-view. So Just as Long as We're Together and Here's to You Rachel Robinson would end up being part of a trilogy. There's no Alison book and I've never found an interview where someone follows up. WHERE'S ALISON'S BOOK, JUDY????
There was one teen-centered book with a boy protagonist. Then Again, Maybe I Won't. I never liked it as much as the Forever or Tiger Eyes. But I didn't care much for boy protagonists when I was a kid.
I started watching Two and a Half Men after I remembered being impressed with Sheen when he took over for MJF in Spin City. I think I watched maybe the first two seasons of Two and a Half Men. Every episode was pretty much interchangable and I couldn't stand it anymore.
