I thought I was the only one who noticed that! I kept thinking, "Do that one more time and we take back the Emmy, Archie."

I'm kind of surprised by the direction they're taking Olivia in. She's the sole character who seems to resist the most obvious, cliched path. When she was first introduced, she appeared to be either Gavin's pawn or partner. And she mostly is. But given the scene with the burnt suicide note, I guess we're meant to…

I've decided to pretend the Kalinda scenes are just really odd commercials. It makes them more enjoyable ("What a strange way to advertise for eggs and soft serve!"), and it keeps them from tainting the rest of what is a very enjoyable season so far.

Lauren Graham, right. Nothing against Tierney (I really enjoyed her tonight!), but I think Graham turned out to be exactly the right fit for Parenthood.

For the record, this show only takes its name from the Pierce novel. The premise of the book is completely different: a Parisian woman marries into a wealthy family of American witches who want to steal her latent magical powers. The titular address doesn't even refer to an apartment building in the book. Other than…

I did! Loved the ending—one of the very few totally satisfactory wins in which the first-place team was both eminently likeable and proficient racers.

I think this grade is too generous. The episode wasn't just overstuffed, it was so dull! Not a single interesting challenge (but the unconventional pingping paddles were cute, I'll give you that), no real use of the location. Just a waste of time.

If I can't find at least eleven Ellen-Burstyn-in-Coma drag queens at next year's Pride, then we are not fulfilling our promise as a people.

Thanks for saving me from having to Google what Michelle's tee shirt referenced! When she made the crack about Godot being too young, I figured it must have been something 80s.

My problem was more that Michelle was depicted as being totally inconsiderate and obnoxious when the show wanted us to think she was being cute. It's one thing to give her a rant about matinee attendees or have her meet the show's director and share some banter with him; it's another thing to set that scene directly…
