I have everyone here at a disadvantage: I didn't pay close enough attention and I have no idea what was going on with that portion of the plot. Thank you very much! I'm out!

MoS is more Bay-ized than Nolan-ized, which is worse.

The Star Trek one was the biggest tragedy in the history of the U.K.! Oh wait — then those ships crash into San Francisco at the end, killing thousands. I forgot.

I saw MoS and BM as a double-feature, which worked out nicely as a "widest range between decibel-levels" kind of thing. Funny how it was the $3 million flick and not the $200 million one I was thinking about the next day.

EARLY LEAK!

Although I admit the Dan Cortez Burger King commercials for Last Action Hero are making me nervous.

I'm SO PSYCHED for Last Action Hero that I already made a JACK SLATER RULES T-shirt. I might go see Jurassic Park, but since that's probably going to be about as good as Hook it seems pretty safe to say Last Action Hero will rule the summer of '93!

"Oh my goodness, it's as if I am seeing double and all of these things: FO-WAH Arnolds!"

2wins 2wo: 2word the Within

It always strikes me as a little bit funny that lukewarm or negative reviews inspire comments like "Bummer" or "That's too bad", as if a jury has just rendered a legally binding proclamation. One guy wasn't thrilled with it, but hey, you can find negative reviews of The Godfather. Or of every film ever released.

Evidently.

There! Check that off the to-do list.

…Is there ANOTHER more easily pushed-around and mislead character in the books than Stannis?

In the wake if the A.V. Club's recent… unpleasantness, it's reassuring to find that some things, like this annual candy-gorging feature, will endure.

The North also makes healthy use of mnenonics to remember names, birthdays, imprtant facts and the like.

It's Noel Murray!

Kevan is in season one towards the end, but he's been absent for quite a while.

" Stannis is his own man"

Why? That implies that we need to see her being "born". It was certainly a lot later than that that she popped up in the book.

They're "confirmed for the show"? Years in advance? Sources please.
