I was at game four at JLA, shelled out for a ticket in row 8 behind the Wings' penalty box. I'm glad I got to see 55 minutes of great hockey and 8 minutes of pure disaster. Babcock needs to go. His "well, I think we played well enough" attitude is just speeding their descent into Cubs style futility.

So this is a prequel to Scanners?

I used to think it was just "the kids" doing this, however in January I was at a Fleetwood Mac show and had to yell at the old in front of me that I didn't pay to watch his fucking phone.

Riot Fest's hook is bands for us folk born in the 70s and 80s to see bands from the 70s and 80s, though they threw in Teegan and Sara last year to bring in a few more young ladies.

Pleased to Meet You was pretty weak but redeemed by the fucking incredible Getting Away With It. The break after that did them some good though because Hey Ma was one of their best.

Definitely one of my top ten records in my collection. Catch them live if they decide to tour the U.S. again. I saw them in Chicago on their '08 tour and it was easily one of the best shows I have ever been to.

The breaks will be fast

Yeah, I remember being 14 and heading off to K-Mart (still the only place in Key West to find new games) and this being the only thing I could afford that wasn't shit. I had played the first one from start to finish at least 5 times so I was super excited but I remember this one to be missing a lot of the charm.

Definitely a good game and I'm glad I picked it up for about $15 back in 1999 (just before everyone realized "oh shit, there aren't many of these so I guess I'll pay hundreds for it") but it's very short and horribly unbalanced. If I remember correctly, the enemies scale so slowly in difficulty that about halfway

Posehn is 6'7". When I chatted with him once I was pretty much convinced he was the largest man I have ever encountered.

You both forgot the "whaaawhyyyhowww"

Can't believe every time I've seen him in Chicago he's only been the opening act. Last summer at the Antheum for Tig Notaro (who isn't that funny unless she's talking about cancer…irony), and twice for Patton Oswalt.

You do realize there is a whole world outside of Ohio?

(Hi, I'm in) Delaware.

The AV Club

He just gets bored and hangs out in an arcade playing Space Harrier.

I had a burned CD in August of 2001 that had only Crystal on it. I'm pretty sure I just listened to that track hundreds of times on the way to and from classes that month.

They're still worth seeing even without Hook. What's his face plays everything perfectly, even if he doesn't have the stage presence.
