No. The Moment couldn't have changed the War Doctor's decision without involving the future Doctors. But the future Doctors could not exist without having destroyed Gallifrey first. But it makes no sense that the future Doctors don't remember having saved Gallifrey as the War Doctor unless that was set in the

McGann gets a spin-off, Hurt gets a spin-off, everyone gets a spin-off!

Oh that makes sense. In that case I just misread the joke.

Well, unless Capaldi is going to be the Doctor for the next 10+ years, I sincerely doubt they'll stop with him. More likely, they'll just invent some bullshit that gives the Doctor infinitely more regenerations, and that will be that.

Well, those aren't the only two options. I just would've preferred if they had spent the whole time in Gallifrey. For a 50th Anniversary special, I was just disappointed that they started out with a fairly rote case-of-the-week style dilemma, although it did have some good character moments.

I might be reading too much into it, but it felt like they were "hiding" his homosexuality, which is something Moffat has been criticized for (though possibly unfairly).

That's a good start.

I'm doubtful that Moffat really thought it out this much, but props to you for making it work.

It's "right", but it's way too cumbersome to start re-naming Eccleston, Tennant, and Smith (and I remember Smith being explicitly referred to as #11 in canon e.g. "Fall of the Eleventh").

The connection between the Moment and Bad Wolf is never really clear (other than fan service), but that role really could've been played by anyone.

It's nothing she's done in Doctor Who.

Well, I like to think that it's not so neatly closed like in other Moffat stories involving time travel and time loops. This time around there is a beginning and an end. Basically, the Doctor really did use "The Moment", hence why he remembered it that way.

THEN TO THE GRAVE YOU WILL GO.

I haven't played Pokemon since the good ol' days of Red and Blue. Have they never retired a Pokemon?

Holy shit, you still watch Bones?

B-, black and white makes it too hard to follow

Without Wikipedia, I never would've guessed she plays Pony on China, IL, which feels really random.

Now that you bring it up, me too actually. Never ran out of Honey Nut Cheerios myself, but I have been shot through the head by a child in a convenience store.
