Wikipedia says a serial comma is for "three or more terms." All you did was add a pause for emphasis, thereby making it more confusing, and outing yourself as a befuddling orthographic WITCH.

She is best in Bent
This is not an endorsement of the French law, but the reason I didn't find it so cut and dry is because I don't believe the practice is totally harmless. Obviously, the simple act of covering one's face isn't going to injure anyone physically, but it's not a fashion statement, it's a cultural one, and I fail to see…
Well, you're right, it's probably way more about oppressing Muslims than it is about women's rights, if that was ever its intention.
My diction was probably poor. I was using it as more like "the practice in general is…" as opposed to "the practice that is generally observed by Muslims".
There are plenty of women who wear the veil out of religious conviction and not because they are forced.
I'm confused. So Luck takes place in the Hannibal universe? That is an unconventional combo.
So which side is "right" here?
Probably the most rage-inducing thing you'll see for a while:
I don't really agree. Certainly it's less cluttered than the AV Club's front page.
The expectations for this film might exceed even The Avengers'. Singer better not fuck this up.
You piece of fuck
Whatevz duds. Videogames are better than movies and TV shows combined to the seventh tetration anyway (symbolically represented as:
VG > (M + TV)^(7^7^7^7^7^7^7)
).
They're different mediums with different merits. Is there some reason why a memorable character created in one night is inherently more appealing than one built up over months and years? I don't think so - It just comes down to preference.
Well, degree/attractiveness of tumblr is somewhat subjective, so I can't fault you on that. But playing around with the front page, I think the web designers actually did a pretty slick job using Flash to minimize the clutter while maximizing content accessibility (and aesthetic appeal).
The font sizes on the front page can be small, but as thedirte points out, you can change that very, very easily. Inside the actual articles though, the text appears to be larger than the text used at the AV Club (on the default settings). So, what is the real problem?
Also, Ctrl + mouse wheel.
It's called school spirit.
Could they pull it off? It could spawn its own trilogy, which could mirror the Nolan trilogy:
You sound very crotchety. As in "talking out of a gray and weathered crotch" crotchety.
