I'm impressed at the self-control.  You should just buy a PS3 and get all the games you want for cheap, then last out this newest generation.

There is a great DLC for ME2 called Lair of the Shadow Broker, which will eventually give you a way of automatically collecting materials in a timely manner for convenience.  I don't know when it gets activated during the main quest though.

Well, it was free on the PS3 at least, which was never the case for the 360.  I think the quality of the MP experience is closer to the 360 than it used to be.
