I like it better that way, especially since Ron Howard is now a character on the show, it almost kind of forces him to be a little more personal.

On first pass, it did seem like Howard narrates a fuckload, but a lot that exposition might've necessary (either to referesh the viewer's memories or simply because the plot is so dense/budget is so low that they had to explain it instead of show it), but they do get some great jokes in there.

If I had to bet your life on it, I would say yes.
